Make every moment count. We're given 24 hours in a day to use for something beneficial, productive, and meaningful. Make it count. Though in this life there are things that are unpredictable we can still make it count. Nothing comes easy, nothing comes forced we have to flow.
As we walk we are often times looking for something of deeper meaning and purpose. We want answers. Not everything makes sense but every portion of the unknown is worth experiencing. Life can be unpredictable and that's perfectly fine. We have to cherish even that. Small bites and big strides is how we move. every step is an elevation whether its big or small. It matters. Even Choosing Salvation.
Can you afford it?
From priceless to eternal value. What is a gift if it must be earned? You can’t pay for it with money because it is given freely. You can’t work for it. So people ask what is it’s value? A gift that is given freely is usually one given without constraint, I can’t ,make you take it but it’s available. That’s the thing, even though you can’t earn it, you have to choose whether or not you’ll accept it. It’s up to you so why would I shove it down your throat.
Just like friendship. You have to choose whether or not you want that friend. Then after becoming friends, that’s when it’s time to work. Maintaining and taking care of the gift makes all the difference. It shows that now that you have it, you value it. It means much more having it rather than watching from afar off.
It’s not always necessary to understand everything when it comes to making a decision otherwise we would never choose.
Acts 8:18-24. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. “But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.”
Submission over increase. Vain seeking oft falls short of faith. The pursuit of power and not grace. Vainly seeking power to stand above men with no intention to bow before God. It's a matter of moments.
